Artists' Flea Market Next Sunday
Stephanie G., whom I met at Art Kitchen (within Newark Art Supply) last March, emailed me about an Artists' Flea Market, and offered this foto poster for use here.

Are you exceptionally crafty? In these tough economic times, you can cash in on your artistic talent. On Sunday, August 9, emerging artists, designers, vintage collectors, and handmade crafters will set up shop and come in direct contact with the consumer public at Mompou Tapas Bar.I imagine most artists who might want to display there will have heard about this event from other sources. I suppose I should still have given advance notice in case an artist should see this only on Thursday (since I am putting this post up on Wednesday nite) and miss the deadline to reserve space (if the organizers hold rigidly to the announced deadline). My mention here is for use mainly by people looking for something to do this weekend. I've never been to Mompou, so might stop by Sunday myself. Is there a charge for visitors? Or would that be dysfunctional, in blocking some potential buyers? And how late does the event go? I see a start time, but not an end time. Logically, then, I suppose it never ends. That seems unlikely, however.
Not artistically inclined, but still have a love for wine, tapas and handmade treasures? Join us for the first-ever Recessionary Artists' Market and enjoy the dynamic retail setting. Tables will be set up in the picturesque outdoor patio of Mompou. Here is the essential info:
