Pigeon Coops in Newark(?)

I replied:

I don't personally know of any pigeon coops -- tho I understand there used to be one in the backyard of the house I now own; only the concrete floor to it remains -- but I suspect there are some, somewhere in Newark. I have seen flocks of pigeons, and indeed saw one small group swooping and returning to a building across the avenue from South Orange Tires at South Orange Avenue and 11th Street, tho I don't know if there is a coop atop it. I'll mention this in my blog and see if any reader has more info to offer.
